How To Change Your Screen Resolution - PC & Mac:

Many websites like www.welshmanmusic.com are designed to be viewed with 1024x768 screen resolution or higher (with a lower setting, you may not see everything on a page). Your computer's screen resolution is easy to change. Just follow the appropriate operating system instructions below.

Windows 95/98/NT/2000/ME Instructions
Macintosh Instructions (OS 8.0 and higher)


To change your resolution under Windows 95/98/NT/2000/Me:


Step 1: From the Start menu, select Settings, and then choose Control Panel. The Control Panel window will appear.
Step 2: Open the Display icon. The Display Properties window will appear.
Step 3: Select the Settings tab.



Step 4: Ensure the Desktop/Screen Area is set to 1024x768 pixels. Note: If it is available, press the Test button.
Note: If the screen reappears blank, it will return to normal in 5 to 15 seconds. This means that your computer and monitor cannot be set to a higher resolution will need to contact your computer vendor/manufacturer for assistance in changing the resolution setting.
Step 5: Choose the OK button.

Note: You may be prompted to re-boot your computer. Choose the OK button to restart your computer.


Display Settings for 1024x768 Screen Resolution for Macintosh®:

From the Apple menu, select Control Panels. You will either have the option Monitors & Sound or Monitors.

If the option is Monitors & Sound:


Step 1: Open the Monitor icon.
Step 2: From the list of available resolutions, select the resolution you wish to use. Your screen resolution will change instantly.
Step 3: Close the Monitors and Sound window.

If the option is Monitors:

Step 1: Ensure that the Show pull-down menu option is set to Recommended.
Step 2: From the list of available resolutions, select the resolution you wish to use. Your screen resolution will change instantly.
Step 3: Close the Monitors window.
